The List-Group-Label Reading Strategy is a vocabulary strategy that engages students in a three-step process to visually organise their ideas and understanding of content vocabulary and concepts. As a class or individually, students devise a list of words or terms related to the topic. Following this students, or small groups sort the words into groups based on their similarities before finally labelling each group.
