12 Tech Tips of Christmas 2025 – Evolve EdTech
Well hello everybody and welcome to the final episode of the 12 Tech Tips of Christmas for 2025 here at Evolve EdTech. Episode 12. Exciting… and a little bittersweet.
If you’re brand new, welcome! My name is Tristan Heron, and I’m the Future-Ready Teaching Specialist here at Evolve EdTech. If you’ve been with us for the full 12 days — thank you. It’s been a huge season packed with tools, tips, and ideas to help educators feel more confident using educational technology.
To wrap up the 2025 season, we’re finishing not with a tool — but with something created for you.
Today, we’re sharing the Tech Ready Teacher Digital Conference.
The Tech Ready Teacher Digital Conference was designed with one clear goal in mind:
To give educators access to high-quality, practical EdTech professional learning — anytime, anywhere.
This conference isn’t about flashy buzzwords or tech for tech’s sake. It’s about:
purposeful use of educational technology
building confidence (no matter your starting point)
preparing students for a rapidly changing future
Whether you’re:
an EdTech explorer just dipping your toe in
confidently splashing around already
or fully swimming laps like a pro
This conference is for you.
There’s been a lot of recent discussion about pulling back from educational technology. And while balance absolutely matters — pen, paper, books and conversation still have a place — removing EdTech altogether does our students a disservice.
Our students are entering a world that looks nothing like the one we grew up in.
We need to:
pop on our “tomorrow glasses”
think beyond how school worked for us
prepare students for the world they’re walking into
EdTech isn’t optional. But it must be used:
intentionally
efficiently
purposefully
in ways that build real future skills
That belief sits at the heart of this conference.
We could list dozens, but let’s keep it simple.
All conference sessions are prerecorded. That means:
watch anytime
pause, rewind, rewatch
no live sessions to rush to
no clashes with life, family, or school
You choose when and how you engage.
Yes. $0.
No hidden costs. No “free this year, paid next year”.
Once you register, you’re registered for life.
You don’t need to sign up again each year.
This conference exists to support educators — not gatekeep professional learning.
Register once and you get:
all 2025 sessions
all 2026 sessions
every future conference moving forward
Your conference portal becomes a growing EdTech PD library you can return to whenever you need inspiration, reassurance, or fresh ideas.
Each year, we host an official conference week in January — timed perfectly for Australian educators on summer break.
Monday 12 January – Friday 16 January 2026
New sessions will be released during that week, but remember:
you do not need to watch them during that week
everything remains available on-demand
Each new session drops at 8:00am AEDT (Melbourne time).
Each session runs for approximately 45–60 minutes.
That’s:
long enough to explore ideas properly
short enough to fit into busy lives
Sessions include recordings, slides, and any supporting resources — all housed inside your conference portal.
Once registered, you’ll access the conference through your Evolve EdTech portal using the email you signed up with.
Inside the portal you’ll find:
a welcome area
conference years clearly organised
individual session pages with:
recordings
slide decks
downloadable resources
You can join at any time of the year — not just during conference week.
In 2026, we’re releasing five brand-new sessions, joining the ten sessions already available from 2025.
